Accessibility on Devices

Overview

At Fleming, a variety of software programs and assistive devices are available for use by students with disabilities. These technologies can help make learning tasks more accessible and manageable.

An Accessibility Advisor will discuss available assistive technology options with you and help determine which technology solutions are best suited to your individual learning needs. If assistive technology is required as part of your accommodations, it will be included in your Letter of Accommodation.

If you and your Accessibility Advisor add a software program or assistive device to your Letter of Accommodation that you have not used before, your advisor will schedule an appointment with an Assistive Technologist. During this appointment, you will receive instruction on how to use the software or device.
