In most computer-based web browsers, to open menus used to clear your cache, cookies, and history, press Ctrl-Shift-Delete (Windows) or Command-Shift-Delete (Mac). If this doesn’t work, follow the appropriate instructions below.
If you don’t see the instructions below for your specific version or browser, search your browser’s Help menu for “clear cache”. If you’re unsure what browser version you’re using, from the Help menu or your browser’s menu, select About [browser name]. In Internet Explorer and Firefox, if you don’t see the menu bar, press Alt.
Google Chrome
- On your computer, open Chrome .
- At the top right, click the three-vertical-dot menu> Delete browsing data.
- Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time. (All time is preferred and select cookies and cache at minimum)
- Click Delete data.
Microsoft Edge
- On your computer, open Microsoft Edge.
- At the top right, click the three-horizontal-dot menu (...) Settings > Privacy, search and services > Clear browsing data.
- Beside "Clear browsing data now" click the "Choose what to Clear" button > Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time. (All time is preferred and select cookies and cache at minimum)
Firefox
- Click the menu button (3 horizontal lines) top right and select Settings.
- Select the Privacy & Security panel.
- In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Browsing Data…
- Select a time frame and choose the data to clear (All time is preferred and select cookies and cache at minimum)
Safari
- Click "Safari" top left
- Select Clear History...
- In the pop up select "All History"
- Click "Clear History" button.

Clearing your browser's cache is a good first troubleshooting step whenever you encounter an issue with your browser. We recommend clearing your respective browsers' cache as a first step for the following common issues:
- Unable to log in with a known good username & password
- A site or page is not displaying correctly
- A download is unable to complete
