Overview
A user's H: drive is accessible to them when logged into an on-campus PC under "My Computer" or remotely using MyWorkDrive. Each user is provided with an initial quota limit of storage capacity available to them via their H: drive. For students, the default is 1 GB and for staff 3 GB.
If you are leaving the college or losing access to your account, you will lose access to your H:drive. If you wish to keep any of your personal data on your H:Drive we highly recommend to make a backup, using this guide.
How to make a Backup of your H: Drive
When using a college Desktop, your H: Drive is accessible in the "File Explorer"
1. Open the file explorer.

2. Navigate to your H: Drive folder.

3. From here we want to select all files the you would like to make a backup of. If you would like a copy of everything, press "CRTL" + "A" to select all.
Once you have selected the desired files, "Right Click", and choose "Send To" and select "Compressed (Zipped) Folder". This will start the download of your files.

4. After downloading, all the files you selected will be put inside of a compressed ".zip" folder. You can then save this file to a USB or share it via email to keep that copy of your data.

Additional Information
If you are using MyWorkDrive to access your H: Drive, the process is very similar. Open your H: Drive folder (home.username), select the desired files and at the top of the page you will have an option to "Download as zip".
Please note that the download time and file size depends on the amount of content you have selected.
