Overview
Brightspace by D2L is the Learning Management System (LMS) used at Fleming College. D2L is used for both core academic delivery and employee training.
Student and Staff only have access to D2L as long as they are actively enrolled or working with Fleming college. This guide will teach you how to backup and save any content you wish to keep before you lose access to your account.
How to Backup D2L Content
1. Go to myCourses and login with SSO
2. Click on the "waffle" icon and select the course you wish to save content from.
3. Go to the "Content" tab.
4. From here you can go between topics and "Download" them. Typically the "table of contents" tab allows you to download all course material listed in it.
5. Repeat for all data and courses you wish to save.
Additional Information
There is no way to full backup all courses and content all at once. This process must be repeated for each course and fully depends on how the course content was setup.
