Overview
In some situations, a ticket may be created for a more complex piece of work, which requires a series of smaller steps to be completed before the ticket can be closed. Similarly, there may be situations where multiple teams must complete different parts of the work that a ticket entails. In TDX you can keep track of these smaller pieces of work within a ticket using ticket tasks.
Tasks are a sub-entity to Tickets that contain their own:
- Title (name of the task)
- Description
- Responsible (can be the same or different than the Technician responsible for the ticket)
- Start and Due dates
- Predecessor (for providing a logical sequence of tasks under a single ticket.
