How to Change Date/Time Zone/Region on Android

Changing the time zone on an android is straightforward. This allows you to set the device’s clock to match your current location or a different time zone of your choice.

Steps

1. Open phone’s Settings on your Android device. This is usually represented by a gear icon. Tap on it to open.
   
2. Scroll down and look for "Additional settings" ( or "General management." in some phones)
   
3. You can now select the options for Date & Time and Region.
   
4. Navigate to Date & Time. Turn on the "Automatic date & time" and “Automatic time zone” option so your phone will automatically adjust to your current location’s time.
   
5. To change Region Settings, go back to the main Additional Settings menu and navigate to Region. You can now adjust Region Settings to the country you currently live in.
   
6. Your device should now reflect the new date, time, and region settings.
