There are a variety of methods available to access to the desktop applications needed to complete Fleming course work. The matrix below compares the main methods:

Body

There are three primary methods by which Fleming students can access the software used as part of their academic work:

Student Desktop Computers - when on campus you can use one of the physical student computers.

LabFind - when not on campus you can connect to a student computer remotely by using our LabFind service.

Home-Use Software - some software applications can be used from or installed on your personal home computer, sometime also know as "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD).

LabFind is a service that allows users to remotely connect to an on-campus student PC. Using VPN and a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client, the LabFind service will match a remote user with an available student PC.
