Overview
This article explains how to “forget” a Wi-Fi network on your device. This is a common troubleshooting step, especially after changing your Fleming account password. Forgetting the network removes saved credentials and prompts you to enter your updated login information, helping prevent repeated login attempts with an old password that could temporarily lock your account.
Windows
- Select Start menu in your taskbar at the bottom left of your screen.
- Go to Settings > Network & internet > WiFi > Manage known networks.
- Select the network you want to remove, then click Forget.
- Now, try reconnecting to wi-fi by re-entering your username and password.
macOS
- From the Apple menu , choose System Settings.
- Click Wi-Fi in the sidebar, then click Details next to the network you’re using.
- Click Forget This Network, then click Remove to confirm.
iPhone and iPad
- Open Settings, then tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap the More Info button next to the network you're using.
- Tap Forget This Network, then tap Forget to confirm.
To forget a network you've joined before but aren't currently using:
- Open Settings, then tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap Edit in the corner of the screen to see the networks known to your device.
- Do either of the following:
- Tap the delete button , then tap Delete.
- Or tap the More Info button next to the network, tap Forget This Network, then tap Forget to confirm.
Android
- Open Settings, then select Wi-Fi.
- Tap and hold the network you want to remove, then select Forget network.
- Now, try reconnecting to wi-fi by re-entering your username and password.
