ResNet (Residential Network)

Service Overview

Physical network data ports are available in each student's residence suite. Students in residence can connect one end-user device (computer, game console, etc.) per available port using a network patch cable.

Use of the "Fleming Residence" wireless network is also considered part of ResNet.

Students in residence.

Getting Started

  1. Ensure that your device is set to automatically obtain a network IP address using DHCP.
  2. Connect the device using an ethernet (RJ45) patch cable.

Use [ Create Ticket ] to request any general support with this service as needed. When doing so please provide your suite number, the label number on the in-suite data port and the device's MAC address if available.

Use (Frost) RJ45 Port Enablement Request ] to request activation of a hard wired data port in your Frost Residence suite.

Use of the Fleming College network is governed by the Appropriate Use Policy (6-602) and ResNet Policies & Procedures.
