Service Overview
LearningSpace is an AV system used by the Fleming College Simulation Centre for recording and debriefing of simulation, scenarios and assessments. These recorded sessions add value to the learning process by giving students the opportunity to deepen their learning experiences. Labs equipped with this technology will typically have 3 different camera angles, which are simultaneously record the audio/video of what is happening in the room at the time of the learning activity. These recordings are then packaged together and shared with groups or individual students (who have consented to being recorded ahead of time) and secured in a link that is sent from the Simulation Centre.
Recordings are kept secure through a unique login and password for each students and kept secure in LearningSpace until they are deleted at the end of the semester. This means that students don’t have to download large files or worry that their information will be used in any way except for their own growth and development. Students are guided at each step of the process by the Simulation Centre with prompts that arrive conveniently in their student email.
