How do I release a print job?
You can release print jobs by logging into the printer using your Fleming Credentials or by tapping your Fleming Onecard. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the printer to release the job from your mobile device.

Will there be any changes to the chargeback model for printing?
No, the existing chargeback model will remain unchanged. Printing charges will continue as per the current policies. It costs $0.10 per page for grayscale and $0.40 per page for colour prints.

Use PaperCut’s Mobility Print to add the printing queues to your device.

I can't find the printing queues on my on-campus Desktop PC ?
Adding these printing queues (Color_FindME and grayscale_findme) is similar to adding the other printers .Check the article "how to add a printer" for instructions.

Can you clarify the card Tap feature?
Users will be able to login to new Xerox devices with their OneCard by “tapping the reader”. Existing ID cards issued by campuses will be used for this as long as the card is "tap" enabled. Some older cards may not have this functionality and may need the user to manually login.

Can I still use my regular printer/print queue?
Yes, you can continue to use your regular printer/print queue. This option remains available to all staff and Students

How long does a user have to release a job after sending it to the find-me-print queue?
Jobs will be held in the queue for 1 hour. After that they are cleared from the queue.

If I print something and want to reprint it later, will it still be available?
For security purposes, jobs are not retained on the server, or Copier/Printer. A job will need to be reprinted from the computer.

Does these queues has advanced Finishing options like Stapling and Hole-Punching?
Yes, if the printer you want to release your jobs from has a finisher (Supported Models: Xerox Altalink C8245, C8145, B8145).

Can I release a black & white print on colour Printer? How much will I be charged?
Yes, You can release both colour and grayscale jobs from the Colour printer and you will be charged for grayscale prints. All colour prints have a page level detection turned on.

I sent my job to the virtual printing queue, but I can’t release it?
Your job may have been denied for: invalid funds, invalid access or the printer is offline. Users can send jobs to the queue for free, you are charged after releasing the prints. If you have invalid funds, then you cannot release them.

Am I charged for sending a job to the virtual queue?
No. You are not charged for the print until you release a job from the virtual queue. If you fail to release the job or 60 minutes pass, you will not be charged, and the job is deleted.

I released my job, but the print never came?
Ensure you are at the correct printer and that you have valid funds. If the printer is in an error state, your job will be held and reprinted when the error is cleared. Please visit the IT service desk or put in a refund request if it’s after hours.

What if I lose my ID Card? Will someone be able to access my prints?
If you report a card lost or stolen, it will be disabled and can not be used to release print jobs.
