Overview
Fleming College provides active students & staff with an @flemingcollege.ca email account as part of their Office 365 online suite of services.
If you are going to be no longer active or you wish to create a backup of your mailbox, this guide will teach you how.
How to access your Mailbox
Outlook Web Access (OWA) using your web browser:
Log in to MyCampus & click Email on the left-hand sidebar. This will take you to Outlook Web Access (OWA) or follow this direct link: https://outlook.office.com/mail/
Outlook Desktop Application:
Download & install the Outlook Desktop app available for Windows and macOS.
How to make a copy of your mailbox contents
The best way to do this is to use the Desktop Outlook application. The web version only lets you download a single message at a time.
1. Open the Outlook Desktop Application
2. Go to "File" in the top left
3. Click on "open and export"

4. Click on "Import/Export"
5. Click on "Export to a File" and "Next"

6. Choose "Outlook Data File" and press next
7. Click on the folder or the mailbox you wish to copy. In this case I want the entire mailbox so i choose the email@flemingcollege.ca. Press "Next".

8. Choose where to save the file, your save options and press next.
9. You content will save to that folder. you can then import that folder at a later date
How to export your contacts
Please note if you followed the method above, your contacts will be exported as well.
1. Go to outlook on the web: https://outlook.office.com/mail/
2. Click on the "People" tab.

3. Click on "Manage Contacts" and then "Export Contacts".

4. Press "Export", this will create a ".csv" file will all of your contacts. You can then import them into another mail account.

Additional Information
You will need access to your account to make the backup. If you no longer have access, you cannot make a backup.
The outlook desktop export feature will export:
All emails (Inbox, Sent, subfolders, Archive, etc.), Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes.
