Important information regarding cellular data caps
When you have reached your data cap, you will receive a text message from Bell.
- Data caps are reached when you have reached 7GB (domestically) 2GB (internationally)
- To release your cap, connect to Wi-Fi, then click [Create Ticket] Button on this page. An authorized Fleming employee will contact Bell to remove the block on your data. If your request for additional data is approved, you will be able to access services again until you reach your next cap. Additional data is not guaranteed to be approved.
Troubleshooting:
If you have activated the roaming option on your mobile and are having trouble connecting and/or sending/receiving text message, try troubleshooting using the following steps:
- Attempt a reboot on your phone.
- Android Users: Turn your phone completely off and then back on again.
- iPhone users: Simultaneously hold down the ‘POWER’ + Volume UP until the Apple icon appears and then let go.
- If you are still having difficulties connecting to a cellular network you can contact Bell Mobility International Customer service 24/7 at +1 514 420-7748 (this is a toll-free number). They can provide assistance specific to where you are traveling and assist you in connecting to the local cellular network. The person assigned to the phone must be the caller.

Features to consider when signing up for a personal wireless plan:
- In rural areas of central Ontario, wireless coverage can vary greatly between carriers, Bell & Rogers. Assess your local coverage and data speed before committing to a contract.
- Data use caps: If using wireless data plan to work from home, monthly data usage can be quite high. Consider a plan that has an unlimited data option or reasonable overage rates to avoid any unexpected billing surprises.
