All student and staff desktop PCs connected to the hard-wired local area network (LAN) are part of the college's Active Directory domain and utilize standardized operating system images loaded with common application profiles for each role, student and staff. These PCs all use the H: (Home) drive as their default local file storage.
Staff can request their Staff PC to be re-imaged to start with a fresh operating system. Staff desktop PCs that are out of date will also be periodically re-imaged.
Student PCs are re-imaged annually in August to prepare for the new Fall semester. Faculty can request new student desktop applications here.
