Data Backup & Restore

Data store in college applications, databases and file systems is backed up regularly.

Desktop Printing

Printing is available from on-campus desktop computers.

H (Home) Drive

Every network user is provided with a private folder that appears as a Windows drive letter that appears as "H" for home.

Internet Access

Internet access is available on most end-user devices at the college via wired or wireless connections.

Mobility Printing

Printing is available from wireless devices, such as laptops, tablets and smartphones.

MyWorkDrive

MyWorkDrive allows users to access their H: (Home) or S: (Shared) on-campus network drives from any web browser.

Network Data Port (Wired)

Wired data services are provided to a variety of devices around the college. Ports are installed where we expect equipment to reside based on the area floor plan. Each port is configured for a specific device and purpose and can not be used otherwise.

Photocopying

Create a duplicate of a hardcopy document.

Print Credits

Student are required to pay for printing on a cost per page basis.

ResNet (Residential Network)

Physical network data ports are available in each student's residence suite. Students in residence can connect one end-user device (computer, game console, etc.) per available port using a network patch cable.

S (Shared) Drive

The S: drive allows staff to share access to files and folders that are typically organized on a department, team or committee basis.

Scan to Email

The college's multi-function print (MFP) devices can be used to scan physical document and email them as an attachment.

VPN

VPN access provides users with access to IT resources that are otherwise only available on-campus.

Wi-Fi / Wireless (On-Campus)

WiFi services are available throughout most of Fleming College’s indoor campus spaces.

Wi-Fi / Wireless (Remote Locations)

Some College activities take place in locations not covered by the primary Fleming College wireless network. At these remote locations you can use the following wireless networks for Internet access:
